Matthew Boetcher, D.C M.S.
Dr. Boetcher is a Chiropractic Physician who emphasizes functional and kinetic restoration
through manual therapies, and rehabilitation. He values communication with his patients and
focuses his approach on helping to individual goals, and giving patients the tools to maintain
outcomes on their own.
Dr. Boetcher treats using a diversified technique including; activator, drop-table, flexion-
distraction, Mckenzie, Graston, kinesio-taping, active release technique, and functional
movement screenings. His practice is evidence-based, and he strives to use the most current and
progressive methods to promote positive patient outcomes.
A Minnesota native, he attended the University of Minnesota - Duluth, before coming to
Oregon to study at the University of Western States. In 2017 he graduated as a Doctor of
Chiropractic while also earning a Master’s degree in Sports Medicine. This focus has allowed
him to work with athletes at all levels. He has enjoyed working with local teams in the Portland
metro area, as well as treating alongside the sports medicine staff at unique events such as the
Canby Rodeo and Seaside Beach Volleyball Tournaments.
In 2017 Dr. Boetcher worked as an intern with the VA - Southern Nevada Healthcare System,
in Las Vegas. Working to integrate different care options to best suit the needs of their patients.
He has said that this was one of the most influential experiences through his years of training and
continues to be grateful for the opportunity to provide care to our Veterans.
When he’s not at the office Dr. Boetcher has a passion for being in the outdoors. You may run
into him getting some exercise on our local trail systems, or logging miles out in the gorge. He is
an avid skier, and will tell you that it’s impossible to log too many days on the mountain. If the
hatch is on there’s a good chance he’s waist deep in the Deschutes, fly rod in hand. Above all
else, he cherishes time with his family, and continually looks forward to traveling home to visit!
